Grace Shipman 2

When Miss Heather was asked if she had anyone in mind for the August Student of the Month, she knew right away that she wanted  to nominate Grace Shipman. “She’s such a hard worker. She’s improved so much, and she’s just an all around great kid!” explainsMiss Heather.

Ten-year-old Grace is taking Beginning Tumbling as well as Moonlights this session. “I used to take gymnastics when I was a kid,” says Grace. “I took a break, and now I’ve been back at Emeth for about a year.”

Dance is something that Grace is passionate about, and she is likes that gymnastics helps her improve her strength and flexibility. “It’s also making me a better dancer!” reports Grace.

Grace is thankful to Miss Heather helping her become a better gymnast. “Miss Heatherhas helped me so much,” says Grace. “She always encourages me and helps build my confidence. She tells me how to improve, but she always points out what I am doing good too.”

Grace’s mom, Melanie Shipman, is grateful to Miss Heather and Emeth for the positive influence gymnastics has had in Grace’s life. “Miss Heather is so positive and encouraging,” explains Melanie. “She’s always building Grace up. I also like that Grace is learning a Bible verse and lessons about character. Even when we take a break, we always come back because of the character building and Bible verses. Emeth doesn’t just build physical strength. The coaches here are the kind of people that I want my girls to be around.”

Congratulations to Grace for being Emeth’s Student of the Month for August!
