Bars
(Glide Progressions)
| Yellow |
Holding low bar, jump to kick down stack of pit blocks |
| Red |
Holding low bar and squeezing a bean bag between feet, glide out to drop bean bag on panel mat on other side of bar |
| Blue |
Hold low bar, bend knees, jump up and back in pike position and then pike glide forward to extend with straight legs |
Beam
(Roundoff Dismount Progressions)
| Yellow |
Slow roundoff off the side: Stand on baby beam or road, place hands sideways on beam, jump feet off beam off the side to land on a placemat |
| Red |
Roundoff off end of beam: Stand in lunge close to end of road, baby beam, or low beam. Place hands close to end and roundoff off to land feet on a placemat at the end. Finish in a stand facing end of beam. |
| Blue |
Roundoff off medium beam into pit: Start in lunge, reach hands to end of beam and kick to roundoff over the end of the beam and into the pit |
Floor
(Handstand Progressions)
| Yellow |
Beginner Handstand with trapezoid: Hands on a placemat on the floor, feet on trapezoid with bottom in the air to create weight support on hands  –  hold 3 seconds |
| Red |
Kick-ups: Start in lunge and perform a kick-up with hands on colored square or placemat |
| Blue |
Handstand: Start in lunge, kick up with hands on colored square or placemat, bring legs together in vertical or close to vertical, then land correctly in a lunge. |
Parallel Bars
( Upper Arm Strength Progressions  –  Exploders Only)
| Yellow |
Shrugs: 10 Shrugs on Parallel Bars in front support |
| Red |
Beginner Dips: Start with feet on waist-height mat and do 3 dips with arms bending to 90 degrees and then push back up to support |
| Blue |
Dip: At least 1 dip that goes to a 90 degree bend and then back up to support |
