child looking up to parent

“Children who see parents model care, love, respect, generosity, self-control, integrity, and faith in Christ are much more likely to exhibit those traits in their own lives.”
~ Mark J Musser, Parenting Essentials

Your Child CAN Understand And Develop Integrity!

What is integrity?
It’s hard to know who to believe these days! Do you find yourself questioning people’s statements because their actions don’t support their words? A person with integrity will not only say they will come and visit you in the hospital – they will actually show up! Their words and actions match. They don’t try to project a false image, but live honestly before both God and man by keeping their thoughts, words, and actions consistent and grounded in truth.

How do I teach integrity to my child?
First and foremost, we must live integrity before them! A parent’s example has more influence than any other person or entity. Our own integrity must be based in truth. God’s word is truth. It is our guide regarding right and wrong and by following it, we will be true examples to our own children.

How is Emeth teaching integrity to students this season?
Storytelling, memorization, and declarations – all based on God’s truth – are the core of all our curriculum to develop the character your child will need to succeed in their life’s purpose.

Stories
This season, both Junior and Senior stories revolve around an invitation extended to villagers to dwell in eternal safety with the supreme overseer of the villages. Integrity is tested as the characters experience challenging situations. Some succeed, others fail. Instructions (adapted from Psalm 15) are clearly stated, but not always easy to adhere to!

Memorization
Senior (about age 7+)
Q. How do you practice Integrity?
A. “I build my thoughts, words, and actions on what God says is true.”

Q. What does God say?
A. “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.” Proverbs 10:9 (NIV)

(Junior verse)
“You will be safe, if you always do right, but you will get caught, if you are dishonest.” Prov 10:9 CEV

Relationships are based on trust. Trust involves integrity. Without it, relationships, and eventually societies, crumble.

If you consider integrity an important part of your child’s training, then we invite you to register for one of our many classes. We offer FREE TRIALS! Check out all our classes and schedule your free trial at a time that’s convenient for you.

Strong moral character is needed more than ever today if we want to thrive in our ever-changing world. The more uncertain or challenging the future becomes, the greater the need to equip our kids today with the inner strength required to face tomorrow’s world.

Our mission at Emeth is to build strong minds and bodies and to build the necessary character to enable them to succeed in their life’s purpose no matter what their future world will look like.

We know you want your children to be equipped by the time they leave home! That’s why we put so much effort into creating our character training curriculum; so we can come alongside and double the chances of your success.  You can find current and past stories on this blog page.
