Let us not become weary in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

~Galatians 6:9~

Every one of us faces ‘mountains’ in our lives that seem impossible to climb. But it is only those who NEVER give up that finally conquer their trials and realize their dreams. These examples are excellent reminders of the importance of never giving up:

Babe Ruth, considered by many to be the greatest athlete of all time, is famous for setting the home run record. He also holds the record for strikeouts. He said “Every strike brings me closer to the next home run.”

Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team. Jordan once observed, “I’ve failed over and over again in my life. That is why I succeed.”

The movie Star Wars was rejected by every movie studio in Hollywood before 20th-Century Fox finally produced it. It went on to be one of the largest grossing movies in film history.

Walt Disney was fired by a newspaper editor because “he lacked imagination and had no good ideas”. Disney went bankrupt several times before he built Disneyland, and it was originally rejected by the city of Anaheim on the grounds that it would only attract riffraff.

Do not become weary in doing the good things that you know you should do. Never give up on a skill that is hard to get. The greatest rewards that you will reap in life are the ones you receive after having to work long and hard to achieve them!
