Emeth has been a part of Anna’s life since she was six years old. As a gymnast for the girls’ team at Emeth, bars was her favorite event. The last meet that Anna competed in was the 2012 state meet where she won first place all-around.

Anna has been teaching and coaching at Emeth since 2009. She coaches Highlights, Moonlights, and Dawnlights classes and also the girls’ level 4, 4/5, and silver teams. Her favorite part about being an Emeth coach is getting to see how happy the gymnasts are when they achieve new skills and move up to new levels.

In her free time, Anna enjoys swimming, snowboarding, and hanging out with her friends and family. Although she doesn’t know how to dive or ice skate, she enjoys watching those competitions. Most people don’t know that Anna traveled to London for the 2012 Summer Olympics to see women’s gymnastics.

When Anna’s students are adults, she hopes they remember that anything is possible if they keep trying and work hard at it. This is a life lesson that is true both in and out of the gym.
