Z and Kayla StateCorbyn Anderson earned the title of state champion for boys’ level nine in both floor exercise and high bar. Fourteen-year-old Corbyn reports that throughout his eight years at Emeth high bar has always been his favorite event. Corbyn is looking forward to the regional tournament that will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 6, where he hopes to qualify for nationals. “I’m really proud of myself for being the state champion in two events,” said Corbyn. “It’s good when all of your hard work pays off.”

“Corbyn is one of the most passionate athletes I have,” said coach Judah Arnold. “He’s either all in or all out. Over the years I have coached him I have watched him not only become very successful as an athlete, but I have seen him grow as a young man. It was very exciting to see him achieve the state champion title on his two favorite events, high bar and floor.”
