June Student of the Month: Brandyn Bogucki

Six-year-old Brandyn Bogucki has been a Kenpo student at Emeth since March of 2014, and is the Student of the Month for March. He has recently earned his yellow belt.

“Brandyn has been a great example of a child with a martial arts attitude,” says Kenpo instructor, Tony Coladangelo. “He is kind and humble. He has patience, and he is hard working. Brandon is also very talented. He is one of the most naturally physically gifted kids I have ever seen. All of my students stand out in one way or another. Brandon stands out for his natural ability.”

“We found out that Emeth had Kenpo from another family at Brandyn’s school,” says Brandyn’s mother Carol. “We love that Emeth is a Christian place that teaches character and biblical values. Brandyn loves sports. It has been nice to be able to work Kenpo in around his other sports schedules.”

“Mr. C. has been awesome,” continues Carol. “He is strict without being harsh. The balance is perfect.”

“Kenpo is so fun!” reports Brandyn. “I never get board. Mr. C. is fun and lets us play fun games like Capture the Dragon’s Tail. I like it when I win. I practice at home too. I’m working on my back fall on the carpet. I’m going to stick with it for sure!”

Congratulations to Brandyn for his Kenpo accomplishments and for being named as Emeth’s Student of the Month for June!
